Statewide General Election
On November 2, 2010, vote in the statewide general election for California Governor, U.S. Senate, and many other statewide races, district races, and ballot measures. Polls open at 7 am and close at 8 pm, and you can also register to vote by mail.
You must be registered to vote; to vote in the general election, your voter registration form must be postmarked by October 18, 2010. Get more info on registering to vote from the California Secretary of State.
Gubernatorial Debate at UC-Davis
Meg Whitman and Jerry Brown will debate September 28 on the UC Davis campus. (Location and time are to be announced.) The debate is sponsored by the Sacramento Bee, KCRA, Capitol Public Radio, and the University of California, Davis.
Brown announced in July that he has agreed to participate in 10 debates and forums leading up to the Nov. 2 general election.
Whitman plans to participate in three, including this debate and two debates in October - one sponsored by The Fresno Bee and Univision, and one sponsored by NBC and Dominican University.
Statewide Primary Election
Vote in the primary of your choice! Polls open at 7 am and close at 8 pm, and you can also register to vote by mail.
Find your polling place via the Secretary of State's website (for most counties in California).
Poizner/Whitman Debate
Steve Poizner and Meg Whitman will debate this Sunday night, May 2nd, at 5 PM.
