I find it VERY curious that Meg Whitman's slow drift towards a mainstream position on the environment happens to coincide with the release of some poll numbers that don't look good for her.

Slick commercials and booklets haven't gotten her anywhere in the polls, so now she has to start pretending to care about the future of our state and nation.

(That's just my personal opinion... I'm not trying to represent my employer or anything.)
