Which is the most likely doomsday scenario?
Recently, while I was in Los Angeles we began discussing strategies for surviving some vague end of the world scenario. My friend was concerned because of the lack of viable escape routes in L.A. during an emergency. I made a suggestion which some of you might guess from the photo attached to this comment.
As we discussed strategies it became clear that survival strategies depend largely upon the type of ecological collapse we are talking about. Does one stay put or does one evacuate? If one evacuates does one do so by vehicle, bicycle, or on foot? What types of supplies should one take? Should one camp in the wilderness, seek out lodging, or sleep under overpasses.
The answers to these questions depends on wether humanity will be wiped off the planet by climate change, peak oil, drought, agricultural collapse, etc...
In order to solve this dillema it is important to determine what is the most likely doomsday scenario. Accordingly, I ask everyone to take my short "Doomsday Scenario" survey so that I can draw from our collective insight. The link to my survey is:

Now that we have a strategy let's make sure the next governor of California has a strategy to prevent any of these doomsday scenarios so we can look back at this survey and laugh (not say, "told you so").
