What else should the next governor do about climate change?
Some members of the GreenGov2010 community wanted more options for what the next governor could do to combat climate change than were listed in our current poll. Apologies; we have limited space for the poll but we're ALWAYS happy to let the rest of the community know what you're thinking!
In that spirit, here are the suggestions from GreenGov2010 fan Susan V. Collins (via facebook):
"Begin to implement the activities as prioritized in the McKinsey report, 'Pathway to a Low Carbon Economy.' There are plenty of activities that reduce GHG emissions, create green jobs AND save money -- they are no-brainers! Many are energy efficiency measures, like insulation, better appliances. Then there's my favorite: RECYCLING! They may not be glamorous, but they are strategic."
